NeuGroup is excited to welcome Amy Kemmerer as the newest member of our team.
Amy joins us as Chief Operating Officer, with a mandate to support our digital transformation, operational excellence and successful delivery of innovation. She will be vital to the realization of our vision to connect every finance professional who wants to share and learn beyond best practice.
Amy brings over 15 years of technology and operational leadership experience at GE, most recently as Director of Commercial Operations for Corporate Business Development at the GE Global Research Center. In this role, Amy directed the IT team to improve process, analytics, and operational tools, to enhance value-delivery and commercial applications of IP. She also led their data and analytical sales management strategy by creating KPIs to accelerate growth to potential. Prior to this, Amy served as Legal Operations Leader for the Global Operations function of the division, where she successfully insourced and improved the delivery model for legal shared services.
In addition, Amy served with the IT PMO office assigned to the $10bn Alstom acquisition, where she led the team to ensure stability, availability, and performance of “Day-1” applications. She prepared 150 GE applications, including eight treasury applications that facilitate payments. While in GE Capital Treasury, Amy oversaw the team that designed and planned the migration of nearly 100 Treasury/Capital applications to a secure Cloud-based data center.

Amy has a BS in chemistry from Syracuse University and an MBA in Information Systems Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has participated in numerous GE Distinguished Leadership Training programs has won the GE CEO Award and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. She also was a member of the GE Women’s Network and a mentor to Girl Who Code. Amy holds 10 US patents for developing innovative solutions.
