Growth-Tech Interim Meeting – M&A

One member of the Growth Tech Treasurers’ Peer Group will address the challenges they faced with a significant acquisition earlier this year. Some of these challenges will include:

1. Integrating corporate culture: Centralized vs. Decentralized
2. Compatibility (or not) of systems (e.g., ERP, TMS, etc…)
3. Headcount, retaining key employees, and maintaining legacy systems
4. The complexity of managing bank accounts
5. Intercompany debt management
6. Pain points from analog problems: Signatories in multiple countries; Legacy paper contracts could be decades old
7. Reconciling interconnected projects in both companies.

NeuGroup for Growth-Tech Treasurers is an invitation-only group of treasurer-level professionals from tech-sector companies who are experiencing rapid growth. The group follows NeuGroup’s time-tested approach for membership peer groups, including facilitated agenda development, benchmarking surveys, and professional networking.

Interim meetings are meant for members of the specified peer group. These meetings originated in response to Covid-19 to keep members connected virtually in between semi-annual peer group meetings. They have a headline topic or topics presented for discussion, followed by an open forum for additional peer sharing and learning on other items.
