Real Talk About Real Treasury Use Cases for DLT and Blockchain

July 28, 2021, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

  • Standard Chartered
About this meeting

Steer clear of a technical, utopian, or crypto asset-driven focus on distributed-ledger technology (DLT), and join a conversation with NeuGroup members and Standard Chartered product experts to talk about what real companies are doing with blockchain and DLT to improve their business, their bottom line, and even make new businesses or products possible. Registration link

Standard Chartered experts will discuss frontline client solutions, blockchain product execution, and blockchain industry partnerships:

  1. What has been successful and why?
  2. What aspects of blockchain can provide real and immediate value?
  3. Questions to ask and criteria to apply to determine if it’s worth considering a blockchain for a given solution.
  4. Managing discussions with technology teams in-house (are they too eager to find a reason to use a blockchain, or very resistant?)
  5. We will also ask participants to contribute ideas and questions prior to the event which can be incorporated into the conversation.

Session Leaders:

  1. Zelda Anthony, Executive Director, Digital Currencies, Cash Management, Standard Chartered Bank
  2. Michael Kleinsteuber, Head Digital Client Solutions Europe and Americas, Standard Chartered Bank
  3. René Michau, Product Manager Digital Assets, Financial Markets, Standard Chartered Bank
Meeting type

Virtual interactive sessions (VIS) are meant for any interested participants across the NeuGroup network and approved non-NeuGroup members. They are usually one-off sessions on topics that interest the broader NeuGroup network and can develop into working groups to further continue the conversation. NeuGroup has conducted dozens of these sessions since their origination in response to Covid-19 in 2020.
