Meet our founder Joseph Neu
Joseph Neu founded NeuGroup more than 30 years ago with the mission of providing treasury and finance leaders with the insights and connections they need to succeed. In 2001, he transitioned the company into a membership-based organization, creating a trusted community for senior financial executives.
Prior to launching NeuGroup, Joseph held roles at The Economist Group, where he served as Managing Editor of its Finance & Treasury publication and worked as a research analyst on projects focused on global treasury, derivatives markets and international business development.
Joseph holds an M.A. in International Banking and Finance from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a B.A. in International Relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Jennifer's academic and professional foundation is rooted in the hospitality industry. After graduating from Cornell's Hotel School, she began my career as an Event Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey. This hands-on role provided invaluable experience in leading and executing high level events for global corporations, media and entertainment clients and social groups. She is passionate about creating seamless, memorable event experiences that engage audiences and inspire meaningful connections.
Growing up in Northern New Jersey and later spending three years in California, Jennifer developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors. She loves spending time in nature, especially hiking, and has a personal goal of visiting every national park in the United States.

As Director, Strategic Operations, Megan Hennis brings more than a decade of experience leading client-focused operations and driving strategic initiatives. She partners across teams to turn strategy into execution, strengthening operational infrastructure across systems, data, and processes. From improving CRM data quality and reporting cadence to enhancing sponsor tracking, event coordination, and cross-functional alignment, Megan focuses on building clarity and consistency that support growth. She is motivated by solving complex problems and developing processes that create measurable, lasting impact. Megan earned her Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University Northwest.
Outside of work, Megan is a passionate fan of the Green Bay Packers, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Blackhawks, and Purdue. She loves being outdoors—especially near the water—and cherishes time spent with her family, particularly her little girl and their dog. More often than not, she can be found with an iced coffee in hand.

Cat is Sales Enablement & Marketing Operations Manager at NeuGroup, where she builds and streamlines lead generation systems through marketing automation. Cat joined NeuGroup after four years in B2B tech sales, gaining experience across multiple stages of go-to-market strategy and execution. She is a proud six-year NYC resident and cat mom to Lois & Wanda.

Glo is an Executive Assistant at NeuGroup, supporting the CEO and CFO and partnering with leadership to keep internal organizational operations running smoothly. She previously worked at The New York Times, supporting senior leaders within the Growth and Marketing department in fast-paced, high-impact environments. Outside of work, Glo enjoys traveling, live music and engaging in arts + crafts.

Joseph Neu is founder and CEO of NeuGroup, forming the company in 1994. Prior, Joseph held roles at the Economist Group, serving as Managing Editor of its Finance & Treasury publication & as a research analyst on projects involving global treasury, derivatives markets & overseas business development. He holds an M.A. in international banking & finance from Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs & a B.A. in international relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Ted is a Director of Peer Groups at NeuGroup, where he leads and facilitates executive communities for senior corporate finance, risk, internal audit, insurance and retirement professionals. He joined the company in 2005. Having been with the company for more than 20 years, he brings deep subject-matter knowledge and an editor’s discipline to convening candid, practitioner-driven discussions among Fortune 500 leaders.
Before stepping into his current leadership role, Ted served for nearly a decade as Managing Editor of NeuGroup Insights, overseeing research, analysis and editorial strategy across multiple finance and investment verticals. Earlier in his career at NeuGroup, he worked as an analyst and editor covering global treasury, pensions and institutional investment topics.
Ted’s background also includes senior editorial and communications roles across financial media and corporate settings. He has held positions with Market News International, worldlyinvestor.com and Institutional Investor publications, including research work for Alpha Magazine: Pension Strategies. He has also worked in executive communications at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.

Andrew Weber joined NeuGroup in January of 2023 and has since played a pivotal role in many of our groups, including NeuGroups for Internal Audit, IT Auditors, Large- and Mega-Cap Assistant Treasurers, Large- and Mid-Cap Treasurers, and Working Capital. His collaboration across the NeuGroup network highlights his deep curiosity and versatility in helping members achieve their potential.
In addition to his group engagements, Andrew has made significant contributions as a writer for NeuGroup Insights, deepening his knowledge in the process and expanding his reach within the network.
Before joining NeuGroup, Andrew honed his writing and editorial skills during his 7.5 years as a book editor at Penguin Random House. There, he worked on a broad array of projects, ranging from serious nonfiction and popular science to business and economics books and mystery fiction. In his spare time, he is an avid disc golfer and chess player.

Zandra Floirendo is Manager of Events at NeuGroup where she leads planning and logistics for our in-person peer group meetings. Zandra joined NeuGroup in 2023 as an Events Coordinator. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Rider University in Central New Jersey. When she is not onsite at a NeuGroup meeting you can find her travelling or at home with her beloved French Bulldog, Lilo.

Kyle Bockus is a Director of Peer Groups at NeuGroup, where he leads several treasury peer groups, including NeuGroup for Cash Investments, Latin American Treasury, Future Finance Leaders, and Commodities. He also oversees the internal team of Associate Peer Group Managers.
Kyle joined NeuGroup in 2022, taking on increasing levels of responsibility since starting as an Associate Manager and later serving as an Associate Director on the Peer Group team. In these roles, he gained experience supporting a wide range of peer groups across the organization.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, is based in Rochester, New York, and is a proud native of Western New York.

Alex Farkas is an IT Analyst at NeuGroup, where he supports the firm’s business and client operations by analyzing systems, troubleshooting issues and delivering technology solutions that enable efficient, secure and data-driven execution of NeuGroup’s programs and initiatives. He joined the company in 2025.
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Information Security from Niagara University.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, running, and is a dedicated fan of his hometown Buffalo Bills.

Andy Podolsky is Director, Peer Groups at NeuGroup, where he leads executive communities for finance and treasury leaders. He runs several peer groups, including Life Sciences Treasurers, Retail Treasurers, FP&A Leaders, Sustainability and DEI, and has also launched additional working groups across FinTech, High Potentials and international treasury communities.
Prior to joining NeuGroup in 2020, he spent 10 years at Deloitte Consulting in Strategy and Operations, served as COO of Gardner Lewis Asset Management and held client relationship roles at Chatham Financial and General Electric. He holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler and resides in Wilmington, DE.

Matthew Golden is Manager of Membership Sales at NeuGroup. He is responsible for building new member relationships and expanding existing memberships across the firm’s treasury, FP&A and internal audit peer groups. Since joining NeuGroup in August 2021, Matthew has grown into his role by developing deep, hands-on experience partnering with treasurers and finance professionals across a wide range of industries.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University and is based in Brooklyn, New York.

Brandon Nitti is Senior Associate Manager of Peer Groups at NeuGroup. He joined the company in 2021 and supports multiple peer groups and facilitates collaboration among finance professionals. He holds a finance degree from SUNY Brockport and has a strong interest in financial strategy and peer engagement.

Alex Kountourzis is an Associate Manager, Peer Groups at NeuGroup, where he manages peer groups, coordinates virtual and in-person meetings and supports member engagement. He joined the company in 2024 and brings experience in sales, marketing and relationship management. Previously, Alex worked as a Relationship Specialist at Breakwater Accounting & Advisory. He holds a B.A. in Communication and Marketing from Michigan State University.

Courtney Royer is Manager of Peer Groups & Insights at NeuGroup, where she partners closely with the research and content teams to deliver meaningful benchmarking insights across the network. She joined the company in 2022. Prior to NeuGroup, Courtney worked in Treasury Management Solutions within the banking industry.

Chris Hall is Director of Peer Groups at NeuGroup, bringing more than 30 years of Wall Street experience as a coverage banker. He joined the company in 2022; previously serving as Co-Head of Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) Corporate and Investment Banking at Mizuho Securities and as Head of TMT Global Relationship Banking at Deutsche Bank.

Justin Jones is a writer and editor at NeuGroup, where he covers the world of treasury and corporate finance with a sharp focus on what matters most to NeuGroup members. He brings a multimedia skillset to NeuGroup Insights, spanning writing, video production and editing, and podcast hosting and production. He also hosts “What’s Neu with Justin Jones,” a regular video show in which Justin showcases the many personalities that shape the NeuGroup Network, from members to his own coworkers. His work translates candid member conversations and complex financial topics into clear stories that highlight practical takeaways, emerging trends and the real decisions corporate finance leaders are navigating.
Before joining NeuGroup in 2020, Justin gained experience in social media management and freelance journalism, including film criticism inspired by his long-standing passion for art and cinema. A humorous PSA video he wrote and directed for Austin 3-1-1 was recognized for Excellence in Public Power Communications by the American Public Power Association.
When not working or watching movies with his wife Lupita, you can often catch Justin supporting his beloved Dallas sports teams.

Mehdi Mohomad Hadi is an Associate Peer Group Leader at NeuGroup. He joined the company in 2025 after earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Texas at Arlington. While at UT Arlington, he advanced to Senior Analyst of the Student-Managed Investment Fund, developing a strong interest in financial analysis and leadership. At NeuGroup, Mehdi supports the facilitation of several functional peer groups, including Cash Investments, IA Executives, and Corporate ERM.
Outside of work, he enjoys riding sport bikes and listening to electronic music.

Sydkne Rackley is an Events Associate at NeuGroup, bringing more than five years of experience in hospitality and events and working with high-profile companies to deliver seamless, engaging experiences. She is known for her friendly, outgoing approach, strong attention to detail and passion for bringing people together. Sydkne joined NeuGroup in 2025 and thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments where meaningful connections are at the center of every event.

John Kane is a Director of Peer Groups at NeuGroup. He joined the company in 2025. Prior to joining NeuGroup, John spent more than 20 years in the treasury technology space, holding roles in solutions consulting, account management and product marketing at FXpress, Reval, Chatham Financial, ION, Cashforce and TIS. During that time, he worked with Fortune 500 companies to evaluate and implement risk and cash management solutions supporting treasury operations, and built and led support, sales engineering and account management teams.

Michelle Breton is Associate Manager of Member Success at NeuGroup, where she recruits, supports and engages current and prospective members. She joined NeuGroup in 2024 and brings experience in membership-based organizations, with strengths in member engagement, database management, marketing outreach and event execution.
Previously, she served as an Account Executive at Interactive Management Group and holds a B.S. in Marketing from Champlain College.

Chris Riordan is responsible for developing and selling the firm's global partnerships. He has over 30 years of media and event sales experience, covering financial institutions, asset managers and consultants. Chris joined NeuGroup in 2018 after holding a similar role at the Association for Financial Professionals.

Scott is a Senior Director and Peer Group Leader at NeuGroup, where he leads executive communities for treasury and finance leaders.
He runs the NeuGroup for Mega-Cap Treasurers, representing ~50 U.S. multinationals with market caps and/or revenues over $100 billion. He has launched several member-driven peer groups for Capital Markets and Defined Pensions & Defined Contributions Plan Management. Prior to NeuGroup, he worked at Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan in debt capital markets and corporate bond trading.

Joseph is Senior Director, Head of Research at NeuGroup, where he leads peer-based studies—grounded in surveys, focus groups, and in-depth interviews—to help treasury and finance leaders benchmark best practices and improve decision-making.
Prior to joining NeuGroup, he held progressive roles at consulting and market research firms, with a focus on technology, data and finance automation. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a B.A. in Economics from St. Joseph’s University.

Jake Bromsey is the Director of Member Services, responsible for member operations and acquisition, billing and receivables, and the organization’s technical offerings. He oversees the broader technology landscape, along with data and infrastructure, including business intelligence and reporting. He enjoys digging into new problems, helping teams find practical solutions, and asking “why” one more time.
Outside of work, Jake trains strongman and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and loves spending time with his wife and three kids.

Julie Zawacki-Lucci is Director of Marketing at NeuGroup, where she leads brand strategy, storytelling and promotional marketing to deepen member and sponsor engagement across NeuGroup’s global corporate finance communities.
Since joining NeuGroup in 2015, Julie has held a series of leadership roles spanning research, peer group programming and member experience. She previously served as Director of Peer Groups, where she directed content strategy and programming for senior finance executives, and as Director of Peer Research, leading benchmarking initiatives across treasury, FP&A, risk and strategic finance.
Before NeuGroup, Julie held treasury and capital markets leadership roles at CVS Health and Hasbro, where she managed global liquidity strategies, foreign exchange risk, banking relationships and capital structure planning.
Julie brings deep expertise in corporate treasury, community-building and strategic communications, helping NeuGroup advance its mission of connecting leaders and shaping the future of finance. She holds an MBA from Bryant University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from the University of New Hampshire. Outside of work, Julie is an avid runner, hiker and spin-enthusiast. She lives in Rhode Island with her family.

Antony Michels leads the editorial process of NeuGroup Insights publications, produces the Strategic Finance Lab podcast and creates sponsored content. He joined NeuGroup in 2017 after working for nearly 30 years in journalism covering business, markets and finance as a reporter, editor and producer at Investment Dealers’ Digest, Fortune magazine, CNN, Bloomberg Television, Al Jazeera America and Yahoo Finance.
Antony has a B.A. in English from UC Berkeley and a M.S. in journalism from the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and now lives with his wife in Brooklyn, New York.

Kristy serves as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations at NeuGroup, where she combines strategic financial leadership with a passion for operational excellence.
With over 15 years of experience guiding venture-backed and high-growth companies, Kristy is known for building strong, resilient teams and navigating transformative exits, including supporting multiple M&A transactions. She thrives on turning complexity into clarity and empowering leaders to make bold, informed decisions.
Outside the office, Kristy champions mentorship and believes authentic connection is the foundation of impactful leadership. She lives in Chicago with her husband and twin daughters. At NeuGroup, she’s focused on building the next chapter of growth.

As Chief Experience Officer, Alyssa McArdle leads NeuGroup’s Events, Peer Group, and Insights teams, with responsibility for delivering exceptional, end-to-end experiences for members and sponsors. Since joining NeuGroup in 2022 as head of events, she has overseen a portfolio of more than 60 high-touch member engagements annually, spanning domestic and international programs as well as virtual experiences.
Prior to NeuGroup, Alyssa built her career in the agency environment, directing event teams for corporations, technology consortia, associations, and nonprofit organizations. Her work encompassed workshops, large-scale conferences, executive retreats, and virtual programs. Drawing on additional experience in journalism, law, and hospitality, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective and a member-first mindset to her leadership approach.
Alyssa is based in greater Boston, where she lives with her husband, Matthew, daughter, Lucy, and their dogs, George and Jude.
