AsiaTech Treasurers 2021 H2 Meeting (Time zone in Hong Kong (GMT+8))

The NeuGroup for Asia Tech Treasurers will conduct its second semi-annual meeting (after a successful launch in December 2020, this time with Hong Kong-based sponsor Goldman Sachs Asset Management. This session will be from 9:30a to 12:30p HK time on Aug 12th (9:30a – 12:30p U.S. EST on August 11th)

This session will gather Treasury leaders from leading Asia-based technology companies including Alibaba, Ant Financial, Intel, Lenovo and others to compare notes with their U.S. Technology partners on several topics.

The format of the session will be webinar, which is intended to allow a larger audience to participate. The agenda items include:

1. Current ESG trends on both the Asset and Liability sides
2. Cash Investments and the Search for Yield.
3. Digital assets and the implications for corporate treasury teams – are they real or just a popular topic to consider?

Each session will include a market overview by senior Goldman Sachs subject matter expert leaders, with NeuGroup members as panelists, and an opportunity for questions from members at the end of each session.

This session will continue to progress of launching an Asia Tech Treasures Peer group to complement the US based NeuGroup for Tech Treasurers, and the Asia-based NeuGroup for Asia CFOS, and NeuGroup for Asia Treasury cohorts.

NeuGroup for Asia Treasury is an invitation-only group of senior-level treasury professionals with regional or global responsibility for corporate treasury, treasury operations, or risk management at leading multinational corporations in Asia. Members share knowledge and practice for a fuller understanding of treasury and risk management practices and how best to apply them in the Asia-Pacific region.

Peer group meetings are the core offering of NeuGroup, and the primary venue through which members engage with one another. Peer groups have historically met twice a year in person in one-to-two-day sessions with the purpose of strengthening relationships through personal interaction, sponsor-led education sessions, and member-only sessions for sharing best practices. These groups also have access to a members-only web-based collaboration site to continue discussions between meetings.
