Alyssa McArdle: A new leader for NeuGroup’s renowned in-person events where members connect with peers, exchange knowledge and hear insights from experts.
NeuGroup is extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Alyssa McArdle as Director of Events—a critically important role as our members, sponsors and partners return in 2022 to attending the singular, signature in-person meetings and networking events that are integral to NeuGroup’s history, reputation and success.
Alyssa’s mandate is to create events rich in compelling content, conversation and camaraderie where professional relationships are forged in an atmosphere of support and sociability—enhancing the ability of everyone to achieve both finance organization goals and personal career development objectives.
Alyssa comes to NeuGroup with more than six years of event planning experience, most recently running a portfolio of professional society and tech consortia clients as senior events manager at Virtual, Inc., an association management company. Prior to Virtual, she worked as event manager at exclusive resort properties including the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester, MA and the Forbes Five Star White Barn Inn in Kennebunk, ME.
Alyssa received her bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College (MA) and is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) as well as a Pandemic Compliance Advisor.
“I am thrilled to be joining NeuGroup and to serve in this vital role as we relaunch and reinvent the in-person event experience,” Alyssa said. “I look forward to working with the entire team to create bespoke experiences for our members and valued events for our sponsors, and to expand NeuGroup’s reach and influence through these essential events.”
Alyssa has hit the ground running, managing the execution of hybrid, virtual and in-person meetings scheduled for this spring and planning a slew of events and offerings for the fall and beyond. She will report to Amy Kemmerer, Chief Operating Officer at NeuGroup.
